The 4-meter CNC bending machine uses the equipped mold (universal or specialized mold) to bend metal sheets in a cold state into various geometric cross-sectional shapes of workpieces. It is a sheet metal forming machine designed for cold-rolled sheet metal processing, widely used in sheet metal bending processing in industries such as automobiles, aircraft manufacturing, light industry, shipbuilding, containers, elevators, railway vehicles, etc.

Precautions for using 4-meter CNC bending machine:

1. Strictly follow the operating procedures and wear labor protection equipment according to regulations.

2. Before starting, it is necessary to carefully check whether the motor, switch, circuit, and grounding are normal and secure, and check that all operating parts and buttons of the equipment are stuck in the correct position.

3. Check the overlap and firmness of the upper and lower molds; Check whether each positioning device meets the requirements for processing.

4. When the skateboard and all positioning axes are not at the origin, run the return to origin program.

5. After the equipment is started, it should be idle for 1-2 minutes, and the skateboard should be fully moved 2-3 times. If any abnormal sound or malfunction is found, the vehicle should be stopped immediately, the fault should be eliminated, and it can only work after it is normal.

6. During work, one person should be responsible for unified command, ensuring close cooperation between the operator and the feeding and pressing personnel, and ensuring that all cooperating personnel are in position before issuing the bending signal.

7. When bending the sheet metal, it must be compacted to prevent the sheet metal from lifting and injuring people during bending.

8. When adjusting the sheet metal pressing mold, the power must be cut off and the operation must be stopped before proceeding.

9. When changing the opening of the variable lower mold, no material is allowed to come into contact with the lower mold.

10. During work, no one is allowed to stand at the rear of the machine tool.

11. It is strictly prohibited to press the folded plate material separately at one end.

12. If the workpiece or mold is found to be misaligned during operation, the machine should be stopped for calibration. It is strictly prohibited to manually calibrate during operation to prevent hand injury.

13. It is prohibited to fold excessively thick iron plates or quenched steel plates, alloy steels, square steels, and plates that exceed the performance of the plate bending machine, in order to avoid damaging the machine tool.

14. Regularly check the overlap of the upper and lower molds; Whether the indication of the pressure gauge complies with the regulations.

15. Immediately stop the machine in case of any abnormality, investigate the cause and promptly eliminate it.

16. Before shutting down, place wooden blocks on the lower mold below the oil cylinders on both sides to lower the upper sliding plate onto the wooden blocks.

17. Exit the control system program first, and then cut off the power.

Composition of 4-meter CNC bending machine:

Sliding block

Sliding block part: It adopts hydraulic transmission, and the sliding block part is composed of a sliding block, an oil cylinder, and a mechanical stopper fine adjustment structure. The left and right oil cylinders are fixed on the frame, and the piston (rod) drives the slider to move up and down through hydraulic pressure. The mechanical stopper is controlled and adjusted by the numerical control system.

Workbench

Workbench section: Operated by a button box, the motor drives the material rack to move forward and backward, and the distance of movement is controlled by the CNC system, with a small reading of 0.01 millimeters (both front and rear positions have travel switch limits).

Synchronization system

Synchronization system: Unlike ordinary bending machines, this machine uses servo valves and hydraulic devices such as grating rulers to form a closed-loop circuit, thereby controlling various actions of the bending machine.

Material blocking mechanism

Material blocking mechanism: The material blocking is driven by a motor, and the two screw rods are synchronously moved through chain operation. The CNC system controls the size of the material blocking.

4-meter CNC bending machine accuracy:

The repeat accuracy of the CNC bending machine slider is ± 0.0004 inches, and the forming angle must use such accuracy and good molds. The repeatability accuracy of the slider of the manual bending machine is ± 0.002 inches, and under suitable mold conditions, it generally produces a deviation of ± 2-3 °. In addition, CNC bending machines are prepared for rapid mold assembly, which is an undeniable reason to consider when you need to bend many small batch parts.
