The water temperature sensor 4060 is an intelligent sensor designed for the Andra Ocean Guardian platform and can also be used with third-party observation systems (RS232). The sensor is based on the principle of thermistor bridge measurement, and is controlled by a digital signal processor to sample and calculate the signal into calibrated temperature engineering data. The sensor is protected by a sturdy titanium alloy casing on the outside.
When integrating sensors into the Andra Ocean Guardian platform, the sensor output signal defaults to engineering data, and the raw data can be used as an option for users to choose whether to output or not. Due to the fact that the sensor is an intelligent sensor with built-in calibration coefficients and sensor information, when integrated into the Ocean Guardian platform, the sensor can automatically recognize and plug and play without any other settings, making it easy to operate.
Sensors can also be used separately or integrated into third-party platforms, using computers or third-party data collectors to communicate or transmit data directly with the sensors through the RS-232 communication protocol. If you need to connect the sensor to a computer separately, you can use cable 4865, which is equipped with a 10 pin waterproof connector on the sensor end. In addition, an extra USB plug is needed to power the sensor.
