Ugo Basile has recently launched a small animal treadmill, suitable for both large and small mice. By simply changing the runway combination, only one instrument can achieve universal use for both mice and rats.
All parameter settings are completed on the 4 "3-inch touch screen of the instrument, which is convenient and fast. The touch screen can also monitor the progress of experiments, display experimental results, facilitate real-time observation of data, and correct experiments.
The speed setting range of the small animal treadmill is 3-100m/min, with an accuracy of 1m/min. There are options for uniform speed mode, acceleration mode, and fixed angle ramp mode. The runway can be manually tilted and adjusted to either uphill mode (positive angle) or downhill mode (negative angle), with a slope angle adjustment range of -25 ° to+25 °. The instrument can automatically detect running speed, absolute distance, and relative distance.
