Traditional sealing structure
In traditional rotary evaporator structures, the sealing ring and evaporator bottle rotate, the rotating shaft is fixed, and the sealing ring and rotating shaft are sealed by an O-ring in the sealing ring.
Therefore, O-rings are highly susceptible to wear (especially when corroded by solvents) and require regular shutdown, disassembly, and replacement of O-rings. |

MechanicalSealing structure
We will apply mechanical seal technology to rotary evaporators.
The rotating shaft, sealing ring, and evaporator bottle rotate together without friction, so the O-ring will not wear out and does not need to be replaced.
The static and dynamic rings of the mechanical seal are made of silicon carbide and reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene materials, which are corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, high temperature resistant, and have a long service life. |
