- SINUMERIK 802D can control 4 digital feed axes and 1 spindle. The spindle is completely controlled by PCU, with both digital and analog interfaces. The use of Profibus bus allows for a very simple direct connection of various system components such as servo and I/O modules. The modular drive device SIMODRIVE 611 UE can configure various drives and motors according to the needs of CNC lathes or CNC milling machines. The powerful Windows tool makes it very easy to set drive parameters, and position measurement can be done using a motor encoder or a grating ruler. SINUMERIK 802D has a powerful PLC-SIMATIC S7-200 programming tool that can run on any PC, and its diagnostic function is also very complete. Ladder diagram programming and classic PLC program examples can be easily applied to machine tool control.
- Although the SINUMERIK 802D system belongs to a low-end system, it is basically a standard CNC system, which is most suitable for the matching and transformation of CNC lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machining centers with small tool libraries.
