Aanderaa Automatic Weather Station AWS2700
This is an automatic weather station that can be used in harsh environments and operates autonomously. It is suitable for remote areas without power supply, such as the Himalayas, and data can be automatically stored or transmitted in real-time.

Because all temperature compensation and calibration data are stored in the sensor, the instrument defaults to directly outputting engineering data without any external calculations. In addition, the instrument can also provide raw data for temperature and pressure measurements. The output data can be displayed and processed through the Ocean Guardian visualization software.
The AWS 2700 automatic weather station is composed of lightweight, sturdy, and durable electroplated aluminum alloy, which is easy and fast to install. The sensors and communication interfaces are installed on the sensor bracket at the top of the mast. The bottom of the mast is fixed on a freely standing cabinet, which is bolted to the ground. Control the ascent and descent of the weather station through a hinge in the bottom cabinet.
The automatic weather station connects sensors, radio transmitters, and solar powered modules to the data acquisition instrument through standard cables. The automatic weather station is equipped with a toolbox and a CD (containing an operation manual and other documents related to the weather station)
All SR10 sensors are timed to read data through an 11 channel Smart Guard data logger installed inside the cabinet. The raw data read from the sensor is converted into engineering data and stored in the Smart Guard data acquisition instrument. In addition to integrating SR10 sensors, the Smart Guard data acquisition instrument can also integrate sensors with serial ports, digital and analog signals. Therefore, it has powerful integration functions and can easily integrate various sensors into the Aanderaa platform to output XML data formats uniformly.
Data can be collected through real-time transmission or stored on the SD memory card of the meteorological station data acquisition instrument for backup. The meteorological station has low electricity consumption and can be powered by batteries or solar energy.

The 4870 data logger can receive real-time data from AWS2700 and other Aanderaa devices, and send these data to the client program end in a unified and recorded manner. The client program end can be the client's own program or Aanderaa's GeoView display program. GeoView can store data in an SQL database and display it on a webpage, allowing users to easily access the internet through a locally connected computer terminal.
