Aerosol Delivery System (Aerosol Exposure System)
Many lung function studies face the challenge of aerosol application. Buxco can provide multiple application options for your research system. For every solution, Aeroneb Lab atomizer is an efficient and compact choice. The aerosol application system may also include an aerosol timer, application frequency controller, manual or software driven application controller, dryer, mixed airflow source, etc.

Application of aerosol in the mass dosing exposure box (exposure)

The Mass Dosing system is an economical option when multiple animals need to be exposed to inhalation. When it is not required for each animal to inhale a uniform amount, as long as sufficient inhalation is ensured, Mass Dosing Chamber can be used for OVA nebulization sensitization in asthma modeling, or smoking with a smoke generator can be used to establish COPD animal models.

This system can atomize drugs, allergens, or other mixtures into extremely fine air soluble suspended particles and deliver them into animal enclosures. Animals are exposed to it at predetermined times to complete the sensitization and stimulation processes required for animal modeling. There are currently two configurations for this system:

A. The standard PLY5000 can accommodate up to 15 mice, 6 rats, or 2 guinea pigs at a time
B. The enlarged PLY5005 can accommodate up to 22 mice, 9 rats, or 3 guinea pigs at once

Simultaneously modeling multiple animals, saving time and achieving good consistency
According to relevant literature, taking OVA sensitization as an example, modeling with nebulization method requires less time than abdominal injection method.
The integrated controller also has timer function, atomization parameter setting, and 0-5LPM bias air supply system.
Biased air supply can provide fresh air for animals inside the box during a prolonged sensitization process, while maintaining the temperature and humidity inside the box from being too high.
We offer two types of atomizing heads with particle diameters of 2.5-4um and 4-6um for selection.

Specially designed internal airflow channels ensure consistent inhalation volume for each animal. It can input atomized aerosols, various gases, dust, smoke and other media.
