To improve the adaptability to harsh outdoor environments, the MetOne 831 core detection module adopts the currently mature high-power laser diode sensor( 40mW@780nm )It can consistently produce high-quality and continuous laser sources, effectively ensuring accurate differentiation and counting of suspended particles of different sizes in the air, with good measurement accuracy and stability. At the same time, with optimized internal integrated circuits and advanced production processes, MetOne 831 can greatly improve the service life of laser diodes compared to other similar products. In addition, the MetOne 831 adopts a new technology microcomputer controller internally, which enables the ET-831 to have functions and accuracy comparable to expensive desktop air suspended particle counters.
The ET-831 integrates a complete set of modules such as an air pump, particle counting, microprocessor, and storage. It can accurately measure suspended particles and air aerosols with four different particle sizes:<1.0um,<2.5um,<4.0um, and<10um, and display the total mass of suspended particles for each particle size (in accordance with Chinese standards). The measurement unit is micrograms per cubic meter. The sampling time of ET-831 is very fast (1 minute), and it can achieve up to 6 seconds per sampling. In standard mode, a total of 10 samples are taken by default, and the result is the average of the 10 samples.
The MetOne 831 is compact in size and integrates a rechargeable battery inside, making it easy to carry and use.
