This instrument is durable and reliable, suitable for conventional methods that require multiple chromatography columns or valves, specific injection ports or detectors, and a wide temperature range. This gas chromatography system provides proven fourth generation electronic gas path control, which can maintain constant pressure and flow settings during each operation. This technology supports retention time locking. In this way, on any other Agilent 6890 GC or 6850 GC with electronic gas path control, regardless of the operator, location, or detector column length, the retention time repeatability can be maintained within a few percent or a few thousandths of a minute.
