Animal Pulmonary Function Testing System (PFT)
The PFT animal lung function detection system is a large-scale system used by Buxco to detect commonly used physiological data of lung function. It can automatically analyze and detect data from a series of group experiments on anesthetized animals. Including testing of forced vital capacity related data, with the same parameters as human lung function testing.
The animals in the experiment require moderate anesthesia and tracheal intubation. When conducting functional residual breath volume (FRC) testing, animals must have strong spontaneous breathing, while quasi-static lung compliance and forced breathing indicators such as FEV and FVC testing can be performed under two conditions: assisted breathing with a ventilator or autonomous breathing of the animal.
characteristic: An essential tool for the study of COPD and interstitial lung diseases, as well as suitable for the research of various other lung diseases Software driven testing, highly automated Measure parameters such as FEV (x), FEF (x), FVC, FRC, FEVpef, MMEF, etc. within minutes DLCO and Multi DLCO monitoring Direct detection of airway resistance and compliance Complete all lung function related experiments Suitable for rodents (including rats and mice), dogs, and primates The software automatically generates data reports that can be directly printed |

The PFT system with standard mouse chamber and rat/guinea pig chamber is shown in the picture. The host integrates small animal ventilators, signal amplifiers, control switches, positive and negative pressure chambers, etc. Note: Computer systems are not included when imported |
The main output parameters of system software FV include: maximum inspiratory capacity of IC, forced vital capacity of FVC, forced expiratory volume at X milliseconds of FEV, forced expiratory flow rate at X milliseconds of FEF, average expiratory flow rate of MMEF, FERV, FEVpef, DVPEF, etc. The PFT system data also includes all indicators output by the RC system. The main output parameters of PV testing include: Cchrod quasi-static lung compliance, RVR residual expiratory volume, VC lung capacity, Cfvc50, Cpk, Cp0, Pfrc, Ppk and other indicators. FRC functional residual gas volume, TLC lung total volume, RV residual gas volume and other indicator data are output separately in specific reports |
