1、 The conveying power system of the sewing machine

However, if the 602 (two needle four thread sewing) or 605 (three needle five thread sewing) stitches sewn with a flat sewing machine are used to wrap the burrs of the tie, the number of layers of sewing material on the seam can be reduced from five to three, or 406 (two needle three thread flat sewing) or 407 (three needle four thread flat sewing) stitches can be used (removing the decorative thread covering the surface of the flat sewing machine can change from 602 stitches to 406 stitches), as shown in the figure. (2) After wrapping, stretch the seam
Knitted garments, after being sewn with overlock seams, may not fit snugly due to protruding seams. In this case, flat garments can be covered with stretch seams. Make the protruding seam fit snugly, but this process often requires special needle plates and presser feet to fix the seam and make the operation easier to control.


(3) The sewing process of adding lace
Due to the width between the two or three stitches of the tension stitch, there are also mesh like stitches that can cover the lace strip and directly sew onto the seam of the cutting piece. And there is no need to fold the edges of the cut piece to prevent loose edges, which can reduce the thickness of the seam and make it more comfortable to wear. This method is commonly used for sewing women's knitted underwear.


(4) Folding edge stitching process

In order to reduce the thickness of the folded edge seams, the edges of finished garments are often sewn with overlock seams and then subjected to single fold stitching or hidden thread stitching, such as at the hem of skirts, pant legs, cuffs, etc. This can reduce the twisting phenomenon often caused by double fold stitching due to bending. However, this treatment method requires two processes of overlock and then stitching. If the style of the finished garment matches, 406 (two needle three thread stitching) can be used to stitch the single folded edge seams. Combine two processes into one process to improve production efficiency.

(5) Sewing on elastic fabric

Due to the strong stretchability of the stretch line, it is particularly suitable for sewing knitted fabrics or other elastic fabrics, such as knitted T-shirts and underwear, which often use stretch sewing machines. In addition, the stretch stitch can be covered with a mesh like decorative thread on top, which not only has a certain decorative value, but can also be used to sew the knitted/sweater bag with this stretch stitch.
