Instructions for using the rock carbonate content analyzer
In order to adapt to the analysis task of measuring the carbonate content of rocks in various oil fields across the country, our factory has developed a new type of rock carbonate content measuring instrument by integrating the advantages of various analytical instruments. This instrument has the advantages of advanced technology, convenient operation, fast measurement speed, accurate and reliable data, and is a relatively advanced rock carbonate content analyzer.
- Measurement principle
The determination principle is based on the reaction equation:
CaCO3+2HCL=CaCL2+H2O+CO2
The pressure of carbon dioxide gas generated by the reaction between carbonate and hydrochloric acid in rocks is measured by a digital pressure gauge. Under the same conditions, the carbon dioxide gas pressure generated by the reaction of standard calcium carbonate and hydrochloric acid is used as the standard value to convert the carbonate content of the rock, which is:
C=C1M1P/MP1
In the formula:C——Carbonate content in rocks,%
C1——The content of standard calcium carbonate,%
M——The quality of the rock sample,mg
M1——The quality of standard calcium carbonate,mg
P——Carbonate produced in rock samplesCO2The pressure of gas,Pa
P1——Standard calcium carbonate producedCO2The pressure of gas,Pa
- Structure of measuring instrument
The instrument consists of a reaction cylinder, a digital pressure gauge, and a shaking device.
1Sample reaction tube: This tube is an organic glass tube with a screw thread, and the tube cover is connected to the control valve. The gap between the cover and the tube is“ORing sealing ensures that each cylinder has the same spatial volume.
2Digital pressure gauge: This pressure gauge is composed of a pressure sensor and a secondary instrument. The digital pressure gauge measures the pressure value of carbon dioxide gas inside the reaction cylinder separately.
3Vibration shaking device: This device consists of an electric motor and a eccentric machine. The vibration shaking device is used to drive the reaction cylinderShake back and forth to accelerate the reaction between the rock sample and hydrochloric acid.
