The jacket of the Grundfos BME multi-stage submersible pump is made of stainless steel. The pump is driven by a standard motor and operates with a triangular pulley. Ball bearings are equipped with automatic lubrication and cooling systems. The axial thrust generated by the pump is absorbed by the built-in thrust bearing. The BMET module consists of a submersible pump driven by a water turbine and a BME pump, which operate in series. This module is used in reverse osmosis systems, where the energy generated by high-pressure concentrated water is absorbed by the turbine. Compared to conventional systems, it can save 34% energy.
