Magnesium oxide cable (BTTZ) is a fire-resistant cable that uses magnesium oxide as mineral insulation. The company invested heavily in 2018 to build a specialized production line for magnesium oxide cables (BTTZ) that can produce up to a maximum length of 50-100 meters per traditional cable and 1000 meters per new cable. Greatly overcoming a series of drawbacks caused by short meters and multiple joints, greatly reducing user project investment costs, improving installation speed, and ensuring stable product operation.

Purpose:
  1. Power supply for fire-fighting equipment and fire-resistant elevators in various types of buildings;

Main features and advantages:
  1. Fire prevention: Due to the fact that all cables are composed of inorganic materials, they cannot cause combustion or ignition. Even in the presence of an external fire source, the cable can still function normally. As long as the flame temperature is lower than the melting point temperature of copper, the cable does not need to be replaced and can still be used after the fire is eliminated.
  2. Temperature resistance: Due to the fact that the melting point temperature of magnesium oxide in the insulation layer is much higher than that of copper, BTTZ mineral insulated magnesium oxide cables can operate at a maximum normal temperature of 250 ℃ and can continue to operate at a temperature close to copper's melting point of 1083 ℃ in a short period of time.
  3. Overload protection: When the circuit is overloaded, plastic cables may cause insulation heating or breakdown due to overcurrent or overvoltage. For BTTZ mineral insulated magnesium oxide cables, as long as the heat does not reach the melting point temperature of copper, the cable will not be damaged. Even if it breaks down instantly, the magnesium oxide at the breakdown point will not form carbides. After the overload is eliminated, the cable performance will not change and can still continue to be used normally.
  4. High current carrying capacity: Due to the special insulation material and structure of the cable, BTTZ mineral insulated magnesium oxide cable has a high current carrying capacity. Compared to traditional plastic cables, transmitting the same amount of current can reduce the cross-sectional level by 1 to 2.
  5. Radiation resistance: Due to the inorganic composition of cable materials, the electrical and mechanical properties of the cable will not change after being subjected to nuclear radiation.
  6. Long service life: As cables are composed of inorganic materials, they will not age and have a minimum service life of several hundred years or more.
  7. Small outer diameter and light weight: BTTZ mineral insulated magnesium oxide cable has significantly reduced outer diameter and weight compared to plastic cables of the same specifications, which can reduce space occupation and facilitate installation and use.
  8. Safe and environmentally friendly: The cable components are made of inorganic materials and do not contain any organic matter. Even at temperatures above 1000 ℃, cables will not produce any smoke, halogens, or toxic gases.
  9. High mechanical strength: Cables have the characteristics of high strength and toughness, and can withstand bending, flattening, twisting, and other situations. Even when the cable is flattened to 1/3 to 2/3 of its original outer diameter, it can still continue to operate normally.
  10. Good bending performance: After sufficient annealing, the cable can be bent repeatedly and multiple times, with bendability that cannot be compared to general plastic cables. The minimum bending radius is only 2-6 times the outer diameter of the cable.
  11. Superior shielding performance: The copper sheath of the cable is the most excellent shielding protection layer, which can prevent the cable itself from interfering with other cables and also prevent external magnetic fields from interfering with itself.
    • Good grounding: The copper sheath of BTTZ mineral insulated magnesium oxide cable can act as a grounding conductor and has extremely low grounding resistance, without the need for a separate grounding conductor.
    • Waterproof, anti-corrosion, and explosion-proof: Due to the use of seamless copper pipes as sheaths for cables, the conductor, insulation, and sheath are tightly pressed together. So it not only has the ability to prevent damage from water, moisture, oil, and some chemicals, but also can prevent the spread of flammable oil vapor, gas, and flames.
