Cystometry Lab Station for measuring bladder pressure
The small animal bladder pressure measurement workstation is an instrument specifically designed to measure bladder function in vivo in rats and mice. It is an ideal tool for evaluating bladder function in gene knockout or transgenic mice.

This system can perform standard urinary tract tests on mice and rats. Long term implantation of a bladder catheter in experimental animals, with the catheter implanted subcutaneously and an outlet made in the neck. A computer-controlled microinjection pump injects saline into the bladder, while a pressure sensor integrated in the tube records the bladder pressure during the infusion process. When the bladder reaches its capacity, the pressure sensor can record the pressure during urination, and the analytical balance under the mouse cage can record the weight of urine, providing an indicator of urination capacity. The entire system is placed in a soundproof box to isolate environmental interference with animals. All signals are recorded by a PC based software system, which also provides complete experimental control functionality.
Bladder pressure measurement rat cage We have developed a standard bladder pressure measurement cage (with food and water supply), which can be directly installed in the bladder pressure measurement workstation. Equipped with automatic feeding function, suitable for researchers studying bladder function (such as urine output) over a long period of time. There are two models of bladder pressure measurement cages (ENV-273 Mouse; ENV-272A Rat) that can directly replace existing rat and mouse cages. Main functions: Graduated drinking water pipe: capable of quantitatively analyzing daily water intake Food bin: stores food for automatic feeding |
