Di Da Hua RuiCUGTEM-TY towed typeIntroduction to Transient Electromagnetic Instruments
China University of Geosciences Wuhan Dahua Rui has developed the CUGTEM-TY towed transient electromagnetic system to address the challenges of detecting diseases such as leakage in reservoirs, river embankments, road embankments that are not compact, water rich, and karst, as well as pipeline detection, pipeline corrosion detection, investigation of unknown buried objects, advance prediction of tunnels (mines), and detection of goaf areas. The system is based on the principle of coplanar equivalent anti magnetic flux transient electromagnetic method and adopts continuous measurement mode, which can eliminate the "blind spots" of traditional transient electromagnetic measurement, achieve ultra shallow continuous detection, and use "large central loop" devices for deep detection.
The system consists of a coplanar equivalent anti magnetic flux integrated antenna, a high-power transmitter, an external battery box, and a tablet interactive platform. The instrument adopts an integrated design of transmitting and receiving coils and RTK, and can be mounted on cars and ships. The detection data and location recording information are displayed in real-time in the receiver to ensure no missed or repeated measurements, and the detection results are reflected in real time, achieving the goal of rapid detection of roads and dams, while also meeting the needs of tunnel, mine, and pipeline detection.
