Working principle

The operation of a sand flow filter can be divided into two relatively independent yet simultaneous processes: raw water filtration and filter material cleaning and regeneration. Both are in the same filterThe different positions are completed, with the former relying on high differential or pump lift for power, while the latter is accomplished through compressed air.

When the raw water flows naturally from the high-level tank or is pumped into the water distribution ring at the bottom of the filter, it gradually flows upward through the filter bed through the guide channel and conical distributor,The impurities in the raw water are continuously intercepted and adsorbed, and finally the purified water flows into the purified water tank from the overflow weir at the top of the filter, completing the filtration process.

As filtration continues, impurities in the raw water are constantly accumulated and trapped on the surface of the filter material, with the bottom filter material being the most polluted.
