product overview
The CYU1 series surge protector (SPD) is suitable for IT applications with AC 50/60Hz and rated voltage of 380V TT、TN-C、TN-S、TN-C-S, Protect the power supply system from indirect lightning, direct lightning effects, or other transient overvoltage surges. According to the IEC61643-1:1998-02 standard, it is a Class I surge protector. B-class surge protector. SPD has common mode (MC) and differential mode (MD) protection modes. SPD complies with GB18802.1/IEC61643-1.
Working principle
SPD is a one port, anti electric shock protection, indoor fixed installation, voltage limiting type.
SPD has a built-in disconnector. When SPD fails due to overheating or breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and provide an indication signal. During normal operation, the visual window displays white, and after failure and detachment, it displays red.
The maximum discharge current Imax per line can reach 100kA.
install
Installed at the junction of LPZ0A or LPZ0B area and LPZ1 area, using a 35mm standard guide rail for installation, connecting copper multi strand flexible wires of 6-35mm2.
Usually installed at the incoming low-voltage main distribution cabinet.
The grounding wire should be 10mm2The length of the yellow green dual color wires mentioned above shall not exceed 500mm.
In order to prevent the failure of surge protectors from affecting the normal operation of the power grid, a fuse or circuit breaker (note: selected based on the nominal current In) should be connected in series with the L-line protector.
