1、 Product Overview
Cable type guided wave radar level gauge is a radar level gauge based on the principle of time-domain reflection. The electromagnetic pulse of the radar level gauge propagates along the steel cable or probe at the speed of light. When it encounters the surface of the measured medium, some of the pulses of the radar level gauge are reflected to form echoes and return to the pulse emitting device along the same path. The distance between the emitting device and the surface of the measured medium is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse between them, and the liquid level height is calculated.

2、 Measurement principle
The cable type guided wave radar level gauge antenna emits narrow microwave pulses, which are transmitted downwards through the antenna. After the microwave contacts the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received by the antenna system again. It is then transmitted to the electronic circuit section and automatically converted into a level signal. Due to the extremely fast propagation speed of microwaves, the time it takes for electromagnetic waves to reach the target and reflect back to the receiver is almost instantaneous.
