1、 Overview:
The Ouwei instrument capacitive target flowmeter mainly consists of a measuring tube (housing), a new type of capacitive force sensor (including blocking elements), an accumulation display, and an output part. According to different media and working conditions, suitable capacitive force sensors must be selected. Therefore, providing accurate measurement objects and parameters by users and selecting appropriate capacitive force sensors by manufacturers are the key to whether the product can measure accurately.
When the medium flows in the measuring tube, the pressure difference generated by its own kinetic energy passing through the blocking element (target) exerts a force on the blocking element, and the magnitude of the force is proportional to the square of the medium flow velocity. The force F received by the blocking element (target) is transmitted to the capacitive force sensor through a rigidly connected transmission element (measuring rod), and the capacitive force sensor generates a voltage signal output. Therefore, after pre amplification, AD conversion, and computer processing, the corresponding instantaneous flow rate and cumulative total amount can be obtained from this voltage signal.

3、 Installation of target flowmeter:
1. Installation of high-temperature (-40 ° C to 500 ° C), room temperature (-40 ° C to 70 ° C), and low-temperature (80 ° C to -200 ° C) flow meters:
a、 Normal temperature, low temperature, and high temperature flow meters are installed horizontally, vertically, or upside down depending on different working conditions (according to the factory calibration sheet);
b、 When the working temperature of the medium is above 300 degrees, users should take insulation measures for the flowmeter housing to prevent thermal radiation damage to the meter head (the working temperature of the meter head is -30 to 70 degrees). Similarly, for media with a working temperature below -100 degrees, anti freezing measures should also be taken;
c、 To ensure accurate measurement of the flowmeter, it is required to set up front and rear straight pipe sections; (Figure 8)
d、 To ensure that the flow meter does not affect the system operation during inspection and replacement, bypass valves (3) and shut-off valves (1, 2) should be installed as much as possible; (Figure 8)
e、 Vertical installation can be used due to process requirements, and the flow direction of the measured medium can be from bottom to top or from top to bottom, but it should be explained to the supplier when ordering;
f、 The diameter of the flowmeter should be as similar as possible to the diameter of the connected pipeline to reduce flow interference and measurement errors;
g、 When installing flange and clamp type flow meters, attention should be paid to whether the inner hole size of the sealing gasket between the flanges is larger than the diameter of the flow meter and the process pipeline by 6-8mm or coaxial, in order to avoid interference flow and affect measurement accuracy;
h、 When installing a plug-in flowmeter, the short pipe and flange must be welded onto the pipeline to ensure that the fluid is facing the force surface of the target plate. The height of the welded short pipe should be 100mm (the distance from the inner wall of the pipeline to the sealing surface of the flange); (Figure 9)
i、 For newly completed process pipelines, preliminary purging should be carried out before installing flow meters;
j、 The direction indicated by the arrow on the outer wall of the measuring tube is the flow direction of the measured medium;
k、 The flowmeter housing must be reliably grounded, and if there is no grounding condition, it should be explained to the manufacturer;
l、 The flange specifications for the flowmeter connection comply with the GB/T series standards, and can also be specially processed according to user requirements (based on the factory calibration sheet).
