Flow range setting
Flow range refers to the upper limit flow value (full range) of flow measurement. The upper limit flow value is for the output signal and percentage display. It corresponds to the upper limit of current output, the upper limit of frequency (pulse) output, and the 100% display value. Associated with it are small signal cutoff and over limit alarm represented by percentage flow. The flow display and flow rate display of this converter are not limited by the flow range within the specified range.
Select the flow display unit in the flow range setting parameters. The instrument flow display unit includes volume flow unit: L/s、L/min、L/h、m3/S m3/Min m3/H and mass flow unit: kg/s、kg/m、kg/h、t/s、t/m、t/h, Users can select a suitable flow display unit based on process requirements and usage habits.

The converter has two optional range automatic switching functions, which can be easily used in automatic control measurement systems with a large range of day and night flow changes. The range value set under the "Flow Range Setting" menu is the first range (high range). Under the "Automatic Range Switching" menu, 1:2, 1:4, or 1:8 can be selected as the second range (low range), with the second range value being 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8 of the first range value.

Whole machine zero point inspection: The measuring tube of the flow sensor is filled with liquid and has no flow, which is not feasible in many enterprises. Therefore, the zero point inspection and adjustment of the whole machine can be abandoned, but a separate zero point inspection and adjustment of the converter can be carried out instead. Technically speaking, this has practical significance only after the sensor inspection is completed and the insulation resistance of the excitation circuit and signal circuit of the sensor is ensured to be normal (both including cables), otherwise the whole machine cannot operate normally. Usually, the zero point of the converter alone is negative and the value is also very small; If its absolute value is greater than 5% of the full range, it needs to be checked first and adjusted after confirming the reason. Under normal circumstances, the difference between the zero point of the entire electromagnetic flowmeter and the zero point of the converter alone is less than 1%. There are many cases where the zero point difference value greater than 5% is caused by users performing incorrect zero adjustment operations when the pipeline valve is not properly closed.
