The HY-LZ chlorine rotary flowmeter is a variable area flow meter based on float position measurement. Adopting an all metal structure and modular concept design, it is widely used in various industries for flow measurement and process control under complex and harsh environments, low flow rates, and various harsh medium conditions due to its small size, low pressure loss, large range ratio (10:1), and easy installation and maintenance.
The series of products of float flowmeter have multiple measurement forms for users to choose from according to different user needs and occasions; According to the output form, there are local indication type, remote transmission output type, and control alarm type; According to explosion-proof requirements, it can be classified into three types: ordinary type, intrinsic safety type, and isolated explosion-proof type.
The float flowmeter adopts the internationally advanced Honeywell non-contact magnetic sensor for detecting changes in magnetic field angle, and is equipped with a Motorola microprocessor system. It can achieve functions such as LCD indication, accumulation, remote transmission output (4-20mA), pulse output, upper and lower limit alarm output, etc. This type of intelligent signal transmitter has high accuracy and reliability, and can completely replace imported instruments of the same type. It also has the characteristics of high cost-effectiveness, multi parameter calibration, and power failure protection.
The design and production of chlorine rotary flow meters also consider the user's process flow requirements, and there are various installation methods to choose from, including vertical installation, upper inlet and lower outlet installation, side inlet and side outlet installation, bottom inlet and side outlet installation, threaded connection, and horizontal installation.
The chlorine rotor flowmeter consists of two parts:
Signal transmitter - indicator;
Sensors - measuring tubes and floats;
There are four types of liquid contact materials for sensors: stainless steel, Hastelloy, titanium, and stainless steel lined with PTFE; Users can choose different contact materials based on different process pressures and corrosive requirements of the medium to meet the pressure resistance and anti-corrosion needs of the process. According to different measurement requirements, users can choose different indicator combinations when selecting to achieve different measurement requirements. The specific indicator form and its corresponding function can be found in the indicator type spectrogram.
The measurement of flow is completed by the transmitter inside the indicator, which couples the magnetic steel to sense the change in float position to indicate the flow and transmit the signal remotely. When the measured medium flows through the measuring tube from bottom to top, the float is balanced by the vertical upward pushing force of gravity, buoyancy, and fluid flow velocity. The float is relatively stationary at a certain position, which varies with the ring area of the float and the cone tube, as well as the fluid flow velocity. The position of the float corresponds to the flow rate of the measured medium.
