IIWorking principle
This device is based on concentration20%Sodium hydroxide solution is used as the absorbing solution. After chlorine combines with sodium hydroxide, stable sodium hypochlorite, sodium chloride, and water are generated. The chemical reaction equation is as follows:
There are two states: gaseous chlorine and liquid chlorine, the latter being more harmful. When chlorine leakage occurs, the leaked chlorine always sinks due to its higher density than air. The liquid chlorine that runs out of the chlorine bottle quickly vaporizes when it flows to the ground or trench. When the chlorine gas detector installed in the chlorine storage detects that the concentration of chlorine gas in the atmosphere exceeds the set value, it will automatically alarm. The chlorine release and neutralization treatment device will be put into operation automatically, and its induced draft fan will draw the leaked chlorine gas to the absorption tower for neutralization treatment through the induced draft pipe on the ground. The submersible pump sends the absorption solution from the solution tank to two neutralization reaction towers. In the tower, the high-pressure alkali solution generated by the circulating pump is atomized through the spray hole, and the gas-liquid contacts and reacts on the surface of the packing to achieve neutralization treatment. The gas rises from the first absorption tower and comes into contact with the alkali solution sprayed from the top of the tower in the packing. Most of the gas is absorbed, while the rest enters the bottom of the second absorption tower through a connecting pipe and undergoes a second neutralization reaction. The tail gas is discharged into the chlorine storage room. The entire system adopts a closed structure, and the gas is not discharged into the atmosphere, which will not cause pollution to the atmosphere.
