1、 Product Introduction:

In daily life, coal (such as coal mine coke) needs to undergo ash viscosity measurement during use. The specific purpose of measurement is to understand that coal contains non carbon elements such as magnesium, calcium, and manganese, which affect the viscosity of coal during combustion. Coal undergoes a series of changes in high-temperature fluids. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the flow performance of coal ash in the melting state, it is necessary to conduct high-temperature viscosity measurement, especially in rotary kilns. When the combustion reaches the critical temperature, the furnace slag can flow through the gate. In order to save energy and protect the environment, there is better control over the release of energy.

2、 Testing principle:

A special method is used to process coal ash samples by placing them in a cylindrical dry pot. A specially designed rotor is placed in the sample cup connected to a Brookfield viscometer. After heating to a certain temperature, the coal begins to melt. The software starts rotating the viscometer, and the slurry melted sample will rotate under the drive of the viscometer rotor. The DV-III detector will sense the resistance and rotation rate of the coal ash and calculate the viscosity value of the flowing coal ash, as well as the interaction forces between the molecules of the flowing object.

3、 Technical parameters of viscometer:

1. Temperature viscosity software: HaTherm software can perform cyclic rheological testing;

2. Viscosity measurement range: between 1.2cP and 5 × 10 ⁷ cP;

3. Viscosity measurement accuracy: ± 1.0% (compared with standard samples);

4. Reproducibility of viscometer: ± 0.2% (compared with standard sample);

5. Furnace heating rate: 0-60 ℃/min; (up to 1700 ℃)

6. Vacuum extraction limit: 4 × 10 ⁻⁴ mbar; (Laibao vacuum pump)

4、 Technical parameters of high-temperature furnace body:

Model of high-temperature furnace: HaTech ET 65-220V, The maximum continuous operating temperature is 1700 ℃. The EuroTherm 3216P1 temperature controller is used, which can set 8 segments and 16 steps of the program. The furnace body is insulated with three layers of imported ceramic fiber material, and a bow shaped furnace support is set between the double-layer furnace shells to form an air insulation layer, equivalent to forming four layers of insulation layers. This not only reduces heat loss, but also avoids harm to workers caused by high surface temperature of the furnace shell.

The vacuum protection furnace tube is made of high-purity alumina isostatic pressed ceramic, and the connection port is copper flange with water cooling cycle. A concave fixed brick is placed at the bottom of the furnace hall to prevent damage to the furnace, so that the heating element is concentric with the furnace tube and crucible. The heating element in the furnace is an imported U-shaped silicon molybdenum rod, evenly distributed on the six sides of the furnace tube. The constant temperature zone inside the furnace is 180mm high, and the crucible must be accurately placed in the middle of the constant temperature zone to ensure uniform heating radiation of the molten sample. Before the first experiment, temperature calibration must be performed to determine the thermal potential difference between the furnace temperature and the sample temperature melt.

5、 The main features of HaTherm software, a specialized program for high-temperature viscometers, are:

1. The temperature can be programmed into 8 segments with 16 steps, each program setting a target temperature, heating rate, and holding time, with a maximum of 8 temperature programs. Automatically display progress bar and time to reach the highest temperature point.

2. Viscosity allows users to customize special rotors. Special rotors need to be numbered and named. The SMC rotor conversion constant (SRC) and shear rate constant are used to convert measured torque to viscosity, RPM to shear rate, and calculate shear stress. After determining the constant, conduct a series of rotor verification experiments and calibrate the viscosity standard sample with temperature again.

Can set speed test, variable torque program multi-step cyclic rheological test;

Torque testing can be set, and the variable speed program can set the torque to 10% -90%. When the torque is ≤ 10%, the speed will automatically increase, and when the torque is ≥ 90%, the speed will automatically decrease. The program will automatically adjust the running test according to changing conditions.
