Principle of Color Quartz Tube Liquid Level Gauge
The UGS (UNS) series color quartz tube level gauge utilizes the principle of natural light refraction and reflection in liquids.
By using red and green chips, the liquid phase is displayed in green and the gas phase is displayed in red during measurement. Due to the large contrast and clear indication of liquid and gas phases, it is more advantageous for remote operation and night patrols.
Overview of Color Quartz Tube Liquid Level Gauge
The UGS (UNS) series color quartz tube level gauge (hereinafter referred to as the color level gauge) is developed using relatively new technologies both domestically and internationally. It utilizes the principle of natural light refraction and reflection in liquids, with the help of red and green plates, to make the liquid phase display green and the gas phase display red during measurement. Due to the large contrast and clear indication of liquid and gas phases, it is more advantageous for remote operation and night patrols. Therefore, it is widely used in various transparent liquid containers and boilers in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, etc., for liquid level measurement of oil products and chemical raw materials such as water, gasoline, liquefied gas, liquid ammonia, propane, propylene, aromatic hydrocarbons, acids, etc. For interface measurements of two different medium densities, a three color interface quartz tube level gauge can be used. The three color interface quartz tube liquid level gauge is designed based on the principle of buoyancy and specific gravity difference. The small float in the quartz tube is suspended at the boundary between the two media. Due to the black color of the float, the liquid color in the upper and lower parts is different, making the display eye-catching. Thus solving the problem of unclear interface between two mixed media that has been troubling in the petrochemical production process. It is currently the most ideal direct reading liquid level gauge both domestically and internationally.

Main technical indicators of UGS series color quartz tube level gauge
Specially made 99.99% SiO2 transparent quartz tube, with a deformation point of 1077 ℃ and a softening point of 1730 ℃.
The compression strength is 1170Kg/cm3, and the expansion system number is 5.5 × 10-7. After special processing, it has high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, and excellent mechanical properties.
Work pressure: 1.6, 2.5, 4.0, 6.4, 10.0MPa
