The pneumatic knife gate valve developed and produced by Zhejiang Haidun is a straight stroke switch shut-off valve with a beautiful appearance, lightweight, and compact structure. It can be manually or pneumatically controlled. The blade gate of the knife gate valve has strong shear force, making it very suitable for working conditions containing particles or fibers such as papermaking, sewage treatment, mining, sugar production, chemical fiber, etc.
1. Valve body
a) The knife gate valve adopts an integral structure, ultra-thin valve body, and full bore flow channel. Greatly avoids medium leakage, flow loss, cost savings, and is easy to install and use.
b) The bottom of the valve body channel adopts a fixed guide claw to fix the gate plate, replacing the groove design, thus avoiding the phenomenon of slag jamming caused by the accumulation of medium when the valve is closed.
2. Gate plate
a) The bottom of the gate adopts a knife shaped circular arc design, so the gate has a strong shear effect and excellent sealing effect on the medium during its movement, especially suitable for controlling pulp and fiber containing media.
b) The valve plate adopts PTFE point guidance, which has low friction and avoids damage to the valve plate.
a) The thickness of the gate can be further increased according to the actual pipeline pressure.
3. Valve seat
a) The valve adopts a replaceable valve seat design (non integral seal), and only the valve seat needs to be replaced after the sealing surface wears out, which facilitates the maintenance of the valve in the later stage, prolongs the service life of the entire valve, and reduces the equipment usage cost for customers.
b) The replaceable valve seat design uses a valve seat cover to pre tighten the valve seat. When the sealing surface is not tightly sealed, adjusting the fixing screws of the valve seat cover can improve the sealing effect.
4. Other
a) The dual bearing design reduces the torque of the valve and facilitates its opening and closing.
