-Measurement principle:
At a certain temperature and pressure, various valence states of chromium in water samples are oxidized to hexavalent chromium in acidic solutions. Hexavalent chromium reacts with diphenylcarbazide (DPC) to form a purple red compound, which is measured by spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 540nm. Based on the initial color of the sample, which is different from the color after adding a color developer, a colorimetric method is used to measure the total chromium concentration.
-Typical applications:
Online monitoring of total chromium in surface water, industrial wastewater (such as electroplating wastewater), and sewage plant inlet and outlet
-Instrument features:
Low waste liquid. The amount of waste liquid is only 1.3L/month
