Working principle of press dewatering machine

1. Gravity concentration and dehydration zone:

The sludge is automatically mixed by a mud pump and a medicine pump through a static mixer and then enters the gravity concentration zone of a belt press filter for dewatering. This zone is equipped with a plow and rake leveling and mixing mechanism, and the moisture content of the sludge gradually decreases.

2. Wedge pressing zone:

The wedge-shaped pressing zone is a triangular space where the upper and lower filter belts gradually approach each other, and the sludge begins to be compressed in this zone, gradually transforming from semi-solid to solid.

3. Low pressure dehydration zone:

The sludge moves up and down in an S-shape around the roller press cylinder in the upper and lower filter belts. The main function of the sludge passing through the low-pressure zone is to increase the strength of the sludge cake and prepare for high-pressure pressing.

4. High pressure dehydration zone:

Due to the decrease in the diameter of the roller press and the increase in pressure, the sludge in this area is repeatedly subjected to four pole pressing force and shear force, and then scraped off by the wear-resistant scraper. Finally, the moisture content of the sludge can be reduced to 75-70%.
