Overview of Flow Belt Drying Machine Equipment
At present, there are three main types of equipment commonly used for drying small and fibrous materials: box type dryers, tunnel type dryers, and mesh belt dryers. The first two are intermittent production, which has high labor intensity, low degree of automation, and many uncontrollable factors; The mesh belt dryer realizes the continuity and automation of material input and output, with high production efficiency, which meets the development needs of modern large-scale production, and is therefore widely used.
Belt dryers are widely used in industry, completing the drying process in a fully enclosed environment and avoiding dust leakage. Suitable for materials that do not allow fragmentation. The dried material is placed on a conveyor belt in a stationary state for drying, and the material will not be damaged. The finished product has good quality. The dried materials all have the same drying time, which ensures consistent color and uniform moisture content of the materials.
The DWT series flow-through belt dryer is a new generation of belt drying equipment developed and produced by Baide Drying. Its main structural feature is to place the heat exchanger on the upper and lower positions of the mesh belt, and the hot air circulation method is longitudinal multi unit series circulation, which has the advantages of uniform heating and high heat utilization efficiency. Can be used for drying sheet, strip, granular, and partially paste like materials with good breathability. For dehydrated vegetables, traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, and other materials with high moisture content and no small powder particles, they have the advantages of fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity, and good product quality.

Working principle of flow-through belt dryer
The flow-through belt dryer consists of several independent units. Each unit consists of a box, conveyor belt and transmission system, circulating fan, heating device, separate or shared fresh air intake system, and exhaust system. The number of units can be determined as needed, and the operating parameters such as air volume, temperature, humidity, and exhaust gas circulation of the drying medium can be independently controlled to ensure the reliability of the dryer and optimize the operating conditions.
The materials in the hopper are evenly spread on the stainless steel wire mesh by the feeder, and the mesh belt is driven by the transmission motor to move uniformly in the drying oven. The drying section consists of several units, with hot air circulating longitudinally within two (or several) units. Fresh air is drawn into the drying chamber by a fan and heated by a heat exchanger. The hot air passes through the material layer and exchanges heat with the material, enters the lower chamber, and then flows to the next unit. The cooled hot air is further heated by the heat exchanger, passes through the mesh belt, and exchanges heat with the material again. Finally, the humid and hot air is discharged by the dehumidification fan to complete the drying process. The quantity of each dryer unit can be determined based on the characteristics of the material and the process requirements.

Characteristics of cross flow belt dryer equipment
(1) The operation of the belt dryer is flexible. After the wet material enters the belt dryer, the drying process is carried out in a completely sealed box with good working conditions, which avoids the leakage of dust.
(2) When the dried material in the belt dryer moves along with the conveyor belt, the relative position between the material particles is relatively fixed (can be considered as a fixed bed), and they have basically the same drying time. For certain drying processes that require uniform color changes or moisture content of materials, a belt dryer is very suitable. In addition, the vibration and impact experienced by the material on the belt dryer are minimal, and the material particles are not easily broken, making it also suitable for drying certain materials that are not allowed to be broken (such as food).
(3) Equipped with a dryer, not only can materials be dried, but sometimes they can also be baked, burned, or matured.
(4) The structure of the belt dryer is not complicated, easy to install, and can operate for a long time. In the event of a malfunction, it can enter the interior of the box for maintenance, making it easy to repair.
(5) Disadvantages: Large footprint and high noise during operation.

Technical advantages of flow-through belt dryer
(1) The dried material is evenly distributed onto the conveyor belt through the feeding device at the feeding end, and is driven by a motor through a gearbox for speed regulation.
(2) The hot air circulation method is a longitudinal multi unit series circulation, and the heat exchanger is placed on the upper and lower positions of the mesh belt for uniform heating, with high heat utilization efficiency.
(3) According to the requirements of material properties, various structures of stainless steel grid mesh, irregular mesh, stainless steel punched steel plate belt and other conveyor belts can be selected. (Note: The equipment comes standard with stainless steel wire mesh)
