Testing Principles

Cover the heating plate with moist fabric and let the airflow pass over it. When water evaporates, it takes away heat and lowers the surface temperature of the fabric.

Detecting the temperature on the surface of the fabric can accurately determine whether the textile has completely dried.

Automatic mode

performFully automatedIn the testing mode, the operator only needs to place the sample into the testing area, and the equipment can automatically run the test, including water injection and generating test results after the test is completed.




The operator can adjust the water and air flow rates by changing the test parameters.

Manual mode

The manual testing mode has been added as described in the AATCC 201 testing methodManual water injectionFunction.

Test conditions

• The closed-loop control system (heating metal plate and airflow) ensuresconsistentTest conditions.
• The testing conditions are carried out through the built-in high-precision anemometer (airflow sensor) and infrared thermocouple probecontinuous monitoring.
