  • DMA features
    DMA is used to apply bending, tensile, shear and other forces to solid samples, and then calculate the elastic modulus and damping phase (tan δ) of the sample based on its deformation and response delay.

    Main applications of DMA
    DMA mainly measures the mechanical properties of materials, such as the number of templates (Storage/Loss Module), viscosity, damping phase (Tan delta), and their changes with time, temperature, and frequency.

    ➀ Wide measurement range
    EXSTAR6100 DMS has advanced automatic tension control technology. For example, for samples with a significant decrease in modulus above the glass transition temperature, the instrument will automatically control the applied tension to avoid situations such as excessive stretching or collapse of the sample. Therefore, EXSTAR 6100 DMS can easily measure various hardness samples ranging from very soft to high modulus.

    Five frequency synthesized vibration modes
    The Synthetic Vibration Mode is an original technology of SIINT, which can simultaneously apply composite waveforms of different frequencies to samples to provide a series of measurement data such as modulus, viscosity, damping, etc. The synthetic vibration mode not only accelerates the speed of measurement and analysis, but also enables DMS to easily measure and analyze samples with high modulus variables under high heating rates.

    ➂ Fourier Transform
    EXSTAR 6100 DMS adopts Fourier Transform technology (US * * 5287749 font) to reduce noise and provide high-sensitivity detection function for small phase change phenomena. Due to the acceleration of data processing speed, users can easily obtain * * viscoelastic measurement results.

    ➃ Thermal expansion correction
    Accurately detecting strain signals becomes quite difficult due to static deformation caused by factors such as thermal expansion and fixture strain. The EXSTAR 6100 DMS is equipped with a high-sensitivity sensor that corrects the length of the sample by driving a stepper motor, and controls the changes in sample strain during the measurement process to ensure the accuracy and high reproducibility of the detection data.

    ➄ Multiple deformation modes
    EXSTAR6100 DMS can analyze samples using diverse deformation modes, providing various deformation possibilities, including bending (single or double cantilever beam, three-point bending), shear, film shear, tension, and compression. Various structures and types of samples, including fibers, thin films, elastic objects, thermoplastic tensile samples, composites, and even gel like materials, can be tested on this machine.

    ➅ Advanced DMA software

    EXSTAR6100 DMS provides advanced software package assembly, including Subtraction software, Master curve, and Apparatus activation energy analysis software. Unique Test Mode can provide stable measurement results. By using the Dimension Factor Function formula, it is easy to determine the ideal sample size as a basis for determining the appropriate sample size.
