Z encoder
The Z series incremental encoder adopts the latest ASIC sensor technology. This technology uses fewer components to improve product quality, while reducing packaging size and increasing accuracy. In addition, the accuracy of the commutation channel is better than the typical accuracy of Hall signals, thereby improving system performance. These devices were originally installed on PITTMAN DC motors to match their electrical performance, so the replacement operation will not cause any "damage" to the motor's performance, thus eliminating the need to "initialize" each new motor. The encoder is connected through the motor 16 pin connector mentioned below.
