Microdialysis is a new technology for dynamic micro biochemical sampling from living organisms, which can be used on anesthetized or awake organisms. It has the characteristics of continuous sampling, dynamic observation, quantitative analysis, small sampling volume, and light tissue damage.
Main principle:
Place a micro probe with dialysis function in the sampled biological tissue, and use a very fine injection pump to push the solution to the probe to achieve dialysis exchange with the low molecular weight substance to be measured in the tissue. The exchanged dialysate is collected and further analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography or other instruments.
Main features:
1. Time resolution, which can continuously track the changes in the levels of various compounds in the body over time.
2. Spatial resolution, instant sampling and measurement, can truly represent the concentration of the target compound at the sampling site. At the same time, inserting probes into different parts of the body can study the in vivo distribution of the target compound.
3. Provide free small molecule compounds that do not contain large molecular substances such as proteins. The sample can be directly used for determination without pretreatment because it does not contain large molecular substances such as proteins and enzymes. It is of great significance for drug research.
4. There is no need to euthanize animals or prepare tissue homogenates, which does not damage the integrity of the body, can maintain actual physiological conditions, eliminate the impact of tissue homogenization on metabolic research results caused by the destruction of cell compartments in traditional drug metabolism research, reduce the number of experimental animals, and obtain information about intermediate processes of drug metabolism. (Traditional methods for measuring metabolite concentrations in serum, urine, or feces can only understand the final products of metabolism, but cannot reflect intermediate processes)
5. Research on pharmacokinetics can collect a large number of samples from the same animal without losing body fluid volume, avoiding the impact of reduced blood volume after blood collection on drug distribution and elimination in traditional research methods. Its temporal resolution can make pharmacokinetic data more accurate.
6. The sample volume remains constant, and the concentration of each component in the sample remains basically unchanged, resulting in less non-specific adsorption of drugs by the membrane.
7. It will not be enzymatically hydrolyzed due to sampling at room temperature, improving sample stability and allowing for easy separation and determination.
8. Small damage, allowing for continuous sampling of multiple organs and sites within the same organ in conscious and freely moving animals, and the animals themselves forming blank controls, enabling accurate and timely grasp of intermediate dynamic information of drug metabolism.

The microdialysis specific microinjection pump is driven by dual motors, with each motor driving two syringes. The perfusion fluid flow rate is 0.0001-99.99 μ l/minute, and the syringe volume is 10 μ l-5ml.

3、 Dialysis fluid collector EFR-82/EFC-82 EAS-20 HTEC-500
The dialysate collector collects samples collected from probes. The container used is a PCR96 orifice plate or a 500ul centrifuge tube (place the centrifuge tube on the collector's orifice plate to hold the collected sample). In order to ensure that the sample does not deteriorate, a low-temperature regulating device is specially installed in the collector. The low-temperature regulating device and the collector are separate, connected by cables, and temperature control is carried out by the control panel of the collector. The temperature control range is 0-4 ℃. This ensures the freshness of the sample and prevents it from spoiling. The collection rate ranges from 5 seconds to 99 minutes, with a 1-second step. Can simultaneously collect dialysate from channels 1, 2, and 4.
4、 Dialysis fluid transporter
The dialysate transporter can automatically inject the sample collected by the dialysate collector of the microdialysis system into the high-performance liquid chromatography instrument. After the instrument is set up, data can be obtained without manual action. After collecting the sample, the automatic injector sends a signal to the high-performance liquid chromatograph and injects the sample, minimizing the exposure of the sample to oxidation
