Detection Principle

The economical potassium permanganate index analyzer is developed and designed according to the GB/T 11892-1989 "Determination of Potassium Permanganate Index in Water Quality" standard. Potassium permanganate can oxidize both reducing inorganic substances and oxidizable organic substances in water under acidic water bath heating conditions. The absorbance of potassium permanganate is then measured by spectrophotometry, and the CODmn value (mg/L) is directly displayed after calculation by a microcomputer chip.
