On the basis of the double eccentric butterfly valve, the center of the valve seat sealing surface is formed at an angular eccentricity (angle β) with the valve centerline, so that during the opening process, the sealing surface of the butterfly plate immediately disengages from the valve seat sealing surface at the moment of opening, and only contacts and compresses the valve seat surface at the moment of closing. This unique eccentric combination fully utilizes the cam effect, completely eliminating mechanical wear and scratches between the sealing surfaces of the butterfly valve sealing pair during valve opening and closing, and eliminating the possibility of wear and leakage. By changing the compression seal to a torque seal and adjusting the external driving torque, the sealing pressure ratio can be adjusted, greatly improving the sealing performance and lifespan of the three eccentric structure sealing butterfly valve.
