Boiler dust removal is the process of separating the dust in the boiler from the flue gas, thereby reducing dust pollution and facilitating further desulfurization, denitrification, and other treatments of the flue gas. Environmental protection is receiving increasing attention from people, and boiler dust removal has also been applied to various fields such as thermal power generation. The working principle of a four ton boiler dust collector:
The dusty flue gas enters the lower part of the middle box through the air inlet duct, and in the pre separation chamber formed by the wind deflector, larger particles of dust fall into the ash hopper due to inertia. The flue gas reaches the filter bag upwards, and the dust is trapped outside the filter bag. The purified flue gas enters the bag and enters the upper box through the bag mouth. It is then discharged through the air outlet duct through the pneumatic lift valve.
During the process of passing through the bag filter, the dust layer intercepted on the filter bag will continuously thicken, causing the resistance of the bag filter to increase. After a certain period of time, the control cabinet will activate the spraying system. By sequentially opening the pulse valve, compressed air is sprayed from the collection box (air bag) into the filter bag through the nozzle on the blowing pipe. As a result, the filter bag rapidly expands, and under the acceleration and reverse airflow generated, the dust attached to the outside of the bag is stripped off and falls into the ash hopper. The duration of one injection is about 0.1 seconds, and after the injection is completed, the filter bag immediately returns to the filtering state.

Components of a four ton boiler dust collector:
The dust collector consists of an upper box assembly (including a pulse blowing device), a middle box, an ash hopper, a bracket, a filter bag and filter bag frame, inlet and outlet air pipelines, a compressed air system, and a control system.
(1) Upper box assembly
A. The upper box includes a flower board, an upper shell, a smoke outlet, and an upper cover.
B. The pulse blowing device includes a low-pressure pulse blowing collection box, a pulse valve, an electromagnetic valve, a blowing bend pipe, a blowing pipe with a nozzle, and a blowing pipe support.
C. Smoke outlet lifting valve.
(2) The middle box body includes the middle box frame, box plate, and flue gas inlet.
(3) The ash hopper includes ash hopper, maintenance door, and silo wall vibrator.
(4) The support of the precipitator includes columns, beams, slant support, etc.
(5) Short pipes for air inlet and outlet channels and box air inlet.
(6) The compressed air system includes air storage tanks, oil-water separators, shut-off valves, pressure reducing valves, pressure gauges, and pipelines.
(7) Dust collector insulation.

The main structural characteristics of the four ton boiler dust collector are:
(1) The dust collector body adopts a frame structure, with continuous welding between the upper box, ash hopper, and side plate and the frame, providing good sealing performance. The middle box side plate is welded with rib plates composed of profiles, giving the box sufficient compressive strength.
(2) In the upper box assembly of the dust collector, the flower plate holes for fixing the filter bag are processed by punching, ensuring consistency in flower plate size and smooth inner surface without burrs. After the filter bag is installed, no dust leakage is allowed.
(3) Strictly control the installation dimensions when assembling the upper box assembly of the dust collector, so that the center of the spray pipe coincides with the corresponding center line of the flower plate hole, and the center line of each spray pipe spray hole coincides with the center line of the flower plate hole. The distance between the spray pipe and the surface of the flower board should be consistent.
(4) The dust collector is equipped with a groove sealing and pressing device on the cover. Install a drainage slope at the top.
(5) The bag cage is processed by a dedicated production line to ensure that each welding point is firm, the surface is smooth and free of burrs, and anti-corrosion is achieved by acid pickling and galvanizing.
(6) Pneumatic lift valves are installed in each room at the outlet of the dust collector box for use during bag replacement and maintenance of the box.
(7) The filter bag mouth is sewn with imported spring steel sheets and saddle shaped pads made of the same material as the filter bag to ensure consistency in bag mouth size.
(8) Dust collectors are structurally easy to install, operate, maintain, and overhaul. The steel structure adopts a welded structure and adopts anti-corrosion and anti rust measures, which should comply with the provisions of GB4053.3-93. The platform and walkway can withstand a live load of 4000N/m2, and the escalator can withstand a live load of 2000N/m2 with a deflection of less than 1/300. The angle between the escalator and the horizontal plane shall not exceed 45 degrees.
(9) The upper box, middle box, smoke duct, ash hopper, and steel structure should be assembled in the manufacturing plant as much as possible while meeting the conditions of convenient manufacturing, transportation, and installation.
(10) When designing steel structures and platforms, moisture and rust prevention should be considered, and good paints suitable for use in coastal areas should be used. Apply one layer of primer using epoxy primer, and one layer of intermediate paint using epoxy paint. The primer and intermediate paint are completed before leaving the factory.

(1) Firstly, understand the technical performance and economic indicators of various dust collectors. Then, based on specific factors such as boiler type, fuel type, combustion method, load changes, available space, and environmental conditions, select the appropriate dust collector. The dust concentration in boiler exhaust is also an important factor in determining the selection of dust collectors. The dust collector should be adapted to the range of changes in the dust concentration of the exhaust gas from the furnace, based on the ideal dust concentration during operation.
