1. Modified atmosphere fresh-keeping packaging machine

Modified Atmosphere Packaging, also known as MAP, is a popular advanced technology for food preservation packaging. It uses protective mixed gases such as CO2, O2, N2 to convert the air inside the packaging, and utilizes the different effects of various gases to inhibit the growth and reproduction of most microorganisms that cause food spoilage. It also reduces the respiration rate of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other plant-based foods, thereby preserving food and extending its shelf life

The packaged finished product is in the shape of a box or bag, and is suitable for logistics and sales of food in small packaging retail in supermarkets and large packaging in wholesale markets.

2. Several protective gases for food modified atmosphere preservation packaging

The commonly used protective gases at home and abroad are CO2 (carbon dioxide), O2 (oxygen) Three types of N2 (nitrogen gas). Their respective functions are:

CO2: It is a bacteriostatic gas agent that inhibits bacterial growth and reproduction. Its characteristics:

(1) The antibacterial effect occurs in the lag phase of the bacterial growth curve (with an inhibitory bacterial index of approximately 100/100g or less);

(2) Easily soluble in water and fat at low temperatures;

(3) It has antibacterial effects on most aerobic bacteria, but is ineffective against anaerobic bacteria and yeast.

(4) The low concentration that usually inhibits bacteria is 30%.

O2: Its function has three aspects:

(1) Inhibit the growth and reproduction of anaerobic bacteria;

(2) Maintain the red color of fresh pigs, cows, and lamb;

(3) Maintain fresh fruit and vegetable metabolism and aerobic respiration.

N2: Inert gas, which does not work with food, only serves as a filling gas for mixed gases.

3. Process flow of fully automatic modified atmosphere fresh-keeping packaging machine:

(1) Workshop requirements

Adopting a GMP 300000 level purification workshop, the indoor temperature is controlled within 15 ℃, and professional channels for employees to enter and exit the production workshop are established, including changing rooms, blowing rooms, and hand washing rooms. There should be complete ventilation, refrigeration, dehumidification, and sterilization equipment in the workshop.


(2) Modified Atmosphere Packaging: Place rice and dishes on food packaging trays and use a modified atmosphere packaging machine for fresh-keeping packaging.

(3) Metal detection and labeling: The packaged products are tested by a metal detector through a conveyor belt. Qualified products enter the coding and labeling assembly line area for coding and labeling processing, while finished products enter the packaging and boxing area.

(4) Packaging and boxing: Put the packaged finished products into a turnover box, and after boxing, the finished products are delivered or stored in a refrigerated or freezer.
