It can measure the gel time of resin, styrene monomer, formaldehyde, thermosetting food and other thermosetting polymeric materials. The gel point is characterized by a sudden increase in the viscosity of the material. The timemeter can monitor the rise of the corresponding torque through the slowly rotating glass axis in the sample. When the gel point is reached, the timer will automatically stop and the buzzer will send a signal to remind the user that the gel point has been reached.
Repeatable results can be obtained by controlling the sample temperature. The product includes an immersion heater - simply plug the heater into the power source, or use a temperature controller for more precise control (not included, can be ordered separately below). The top cooling coil of this component can prevent evaporation and avoid changes in water level in the water bath.

When reaching gel points, it will automatically shut down, eliminate error testing, and when reaching gel points, it will generate an audible and visual alarm signal, automatically indicating that zui is approaching the time and seconds

Typical steps for measuring gel points:

• Add the test sample to the test tube and immerse it in a constant temperature dish
• Insert the stirring glass rod into the test tube
• The glass rod is connected to a torsion metal wire, which is driven by a synchronous motor with a rotation rate of 1 revolution per minute
• At the beginning of timing, the gel tester monitors the test process until it reaches the gel point
• Arrive at the gel point, display the gel time, and send out audible and visual alarm signals at the same time
• Digital temperature controller provides safe and automatic constant temperature control for gel process, and is an ideal choice for constant temperature immersion in gel process. As long as the temperature control point (up to 315 degrees) is simply set on the front panel, the controller will control the temperature within ± 0.2 degrees of the set point after constant temperature.
