SS-3 Gilson 3in Performer III Sieve ShakerCompact and quiet, used for effective dry powder separation of small samples from size 4 to 635 (4.75 mm to 20 meters). This sieve shaker is particularly suitable for dry chemicals, minerals, pharmaceuticals, powdered metals, cosmetics, abrasives, minerals, food, and other fine powders. Small size and portability allow for easy setup near process operations or in remote QC/QA applications.

High frequency -3600 VPM electromagnetic vibration with 0% -100% amplitude control is ideal for particle separation. The tapping action driven by the online solenoid works 60 times per minute during the screening process to redistribute the sample on the sieve and break the electrostatic blinding, helping to quickly remove small-sized particles from the sieve holes.

SS-3 accepts 3-inch (76mm) diameter conventional metal test sieves or Gilson transparent acrylic frame sieves. SSA-173 acrylic sieve adapter is used to adapt to acrylic sieve, and standard metal sieve is used for fine particle collection. The screening capacity is seven full height or fourteen and a half height metal screens, or fourteen acrylic frame screens added to the pot. It also includes a metal screen cover. The Gilson EZ fixture system provides seamless insertion and removal of screen stacks while keeping the top cover secure at a fixed height. The capture knob only requires pressing a button and a quick twist to secure the stack. Variable vibration control and manual/timed mode switch with digital countdown timer control operate for 99 minutes and 59 seconds. The pause function allows for cyclic pause and resume without sacrificing testing time, and emits a five second audible alert upon completion of the interval. The controller is easy to program, and the large and bright 0.5in (126mm) LED display is easy to read.
