The Hongxin ODO series of fluorescence based dissolved oxygen sensors for aquaculture are tailor-made for the aquaculture market and use fluorescent materials independently developed by Hongxin. No oxygen consumption, no flow rate limitation, no need for electrolyte, maintenance and calibration free, strong anti-interference ability, and excellent stability. Built in temperature sensor with automatic temperature compensation. RS485 output, can be networked without the need for a controller.

Testing Principles
The fluorescence based dissolved oxygen sensor is based on the quenching principle of specific substances on active fluorescence in physics. The blue light emitted by a light-emitting diode (LED) shines on the fluorescent substance on the inner surface of the fluorescent cap. The fluorescent substance on the inner surface is excited and emits red light. By detecting the phase difference between the red and blue light and comparing it with the internal calibration value, the concentration of oxygen molecules is calculated, and the final value is automatically compensated by temperature and pressure.
