2 Application scope

The HCFA type corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant clamp plate centrifugal pump from Qianggong Pump Industry has a wide range of applications.

Transport medium: with a solid content below 40% (volume ratio) and a temperature below 150 ℃ (due to differences in materials), the medium must not undergo chemical reactions with the material of the pump flow.

When the density of the pumped medium is greater than 1.2 or the viscosity is greater than water, a motor with correspondingly higher output power needs to be used.

Specific material selection and matching motor power can be consulted with our technical department personnel.

Chemical industryTransportation and circulation of various acids, alkalis, salts, organic chemicals, and corrosive slurries.

Acid circulation pumps and waste acid pumps in the pickling industry, including stainless steel mixed acid pickling (hydrofluoric acid mixed with nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid mixed with sulfuric acid, and others), carbon steel plate hydrochloric acid pickling, titanium plate and other metal plate pickling.

4 Technical data

4.1 Environmental temperature

The maximum temperature is+40 ℃

If the ambient temperature exceeds 40 ℃, or when the installation height of the motor exceeds 1000 meters above sea level, the output power of the motor will decrease due to the decrease in air density and the corresponding lower air cooling effect. In this case, a motor with higher output power must be selected. If the actual operating environmental conditions of the motor exceed the above standards, its actual effective output power can be calculated and corrected according to the following formula:

4.3 Minimum Import Pressure

Minimum inlet pressure calculation method:

H= Pb×10.2-NPSH-Hf-Hv-Hs

Among them:

Pb=atmospheric pressure value shown on the barometer (atmospheric pressure can be preset to 0.1 MPa).

In a closed system, Pb is the system pressure in the barometer.

NSPH=cavitation allowance (see pump performance parameter table)

Hf=Friction loss of liquid in the pump suction pipeline

Hv=vaporization pressure

Hs=safety margin (minimum taken as 0.5 meters)

If H is a positive value, it means that the height at which the pump can suction on the suction side is H meters;

If H is calculated as a negative value, the pump inlet must have a pressure of at least H meters high, and during operation, the pressure must be equal to the calculated H.

4.4 Maximum import pressure

The maximum inlet pressure of the pump plus the head of the pump when the valve is closed shall not exceed the maximum allowable design pressure of the pump.

4.5 Minimum flow rate

When the flow rate of the pump is close to zero during operation, almost all of the energy of the pump is transferred to the pumping medium in the form of thermal energy. The liquid will be heated until it vaporizes, which will cause serious damage to the impeller and ultimately damage the pump. The mechanical seal components will also be damaged.

In engineering, for the sake of simplicity, actual empirical data can also be used to determine the minimum continuous heat flow rate of centrifugal pumps. Approximately 30% to 40% of the rated flow rate is used for the minimum continuous heat flow rate. A bypass pipe can be installed on the pipeline between the pump outlet flange and the outlet valve to return to the suction source, and a throttle valve for regulating the flow rate can be installed on the bypass pipe. In this way, the flow rate can be adjusted when the outlet valve is open (but this method reduces the efficiency of the pump).
