Purpose:

The driving type rake scraper is used in the horizontal sedimentation tank of sewage treatment plants to scrape and collect the sludge settled on the bottom of the tank into the sludge tank for sludge reflux or concentration and dewatering, and to skim the floating slag on the water surface to the slag collection hopper, which is discharged outside the tank through the floating slag funnel for further treatment.

Construction and working process:

The driving type rake scraper scraper is shown in Figure 1: it consists of a working bridge, a hoisting mechanism, a scraper truss, a driving mechanism, a floating slag scraper, a scraper rake, an electrical box, etc.

This machine is supported by four points and spans across the level surface. Tracks are laid on both sides of the pool, and the scraper runs along the tracks on the pool platform. When the scraper runs, the scraper plate scrapes the mud and sand into the mud collection tank, and the slag scraper plate scrapes the floating slag into the slag hopper; On the return trip, the mud scraper is lifted off the bottom of the pool by the hoisting mechanism, and the slag scraper is lifted off the water surface by the electric push rod, completing one stroke. The mud scraper returns to the starting position, and the number of back and forth trips is controlled by the stroke control device and relay according to the amount of sludge.
