3、 Measurement principle:
HJ-MLSS-B type photoelectric typeSludge concentration meterThe attenuation of infrared light transmission and scattering in sludge and suspended solids is based on the concentration of suspended solids in the liquid. The infrared light emitted by the transmitter on the sensor, after being absorbed, reflected, and scattered by the measured object during transmission, only a small portion of the light can reach the detector. The transmittance of the transmitted light is related to the concentration of the measured wastewater, so the concentration of the wastewater can be calculated by measuring the transmittance of the transmitted light.

The light emitted by each emitter is transmitted and directed onto the two detectors, creating a series of optical paths and obtaining a data matrix. By analyzing these data signals, the accurate concentration of suspended solids in the medium can be obtained, and interference can be effectively eliminated to compensate for deviations caused by pollution, enabling the instrument to operate in harsh environments.
Note: The infrared receiver uses an integrated circuit chip that converts high-precision 940nm light intensity into frequency, converting the received light intensity into a digital signal.
