The concentrator communicates with the collection terminals through power line carriers, and each collection terminal can be equipped with 128 time-sharing electricity meters; The collection terminal communicates with the time-sharing meter through RS485 bus. Power companies can collect meter data into marketing systems or other systems that require this data through remote communication (such as CDMA, GPRS, etc.) or local communication (infrared, RS232, wireless data transmission). The system currently includes five meter reading methods, GSM、 Power line carrier+infrared, power line carrier+wireless data transmission module, power line carrier+CDMA, power line carrier+GPRS. If a GSM meter reading and collection terminal is installed, the electricity can be read by selecting the community or house number; The meter reader can read the data of the electricity meter by operating it on the client's machine. If a power line carrier+infrared system or a power line carrier+wireless data transmission module is installed, the meter reader needs to download the meter reading information into the handheld meter reading device through the main software; Then bring the handheld device to the concentrator installation site and read the meter data through infrared communication or RS232 serial port. If it is a CDMA or GPRS system, the meter reader only needs to issue meter reading instructions through the main station software, and the system automatically establishes a virtual private network link based on CDMA or GPRS communication. This communication system ensures both real-time performance and the security of communication data. The data of the electricity meter is collected through a virtual private network and stored on the database server of the power supply company.
