hand-held strain gauge
Handheld strain gaugeStructure principle: Structure: The instrument consists of a metal bracket, a displacement gauge (dial gauge or micrometer), and a telescopic adjustment part.
Handheld strain gaugePrinciple: It is a mechanical strain measuring instrument. The instrument has a standard gauge made of precision low expansion alloy, with a linear expansion coefficient of α 1.5 × 10/℃. Therefore, when the ambient temperature changes greatly, the gauge length can be considered unchanged. Before each measurement, it is necessary to mark it on the standard gauge, and then measure it on the test object to compare the difference between the two and determine the amount of deformation= (⊿1/1)X10

hand-held strain gaugePrecautions for use
1) When using, excessive tension or pressure should not be applied to give impact force, in order to avoid damage to the displacement sensor or connecting spring plate.
2) To reduce errors, it is not advisable to change the experimenter or change the testing direction during the testing process.
3) During the experiment, do not touch the metal bracket of the instrument with your hands. Instead, grip the handle to reduce errors caused by human body temperature.
4) Repeat N times during reading to avoid errors.
Maintenance and upkeep
1) The pointed tip of the instrument should be inserted with sufficient protection to avoid breakage.
2) During use, the instrument should be placed in a box to maintain its sensitivity without loss.
3) After the experiment is completed, wipe it clean with a lint free cloth and hang the locking hook to prevent damage to the spring plate.
4) Do not dismantle the instrument at will, handle it gently when taking it out and placing it.
