Sound insulation measurement of building components:Sound insulation measurement mainly measures the sound pressure level difference at different center frequencies on both sides of the sound chamber and the sound chamber. According to different transmission routes, it can be divided into:Measurement of airborne sound insulation of building components; Measurement of sound insulation caused by floor impact.

Reverberation chamber sound absorption measurement: a method of measuring the sound absorption coefficient of acoustic materials used to treat interfaces such as walls or ceilings, or the sound absorption of objects such as furniture, people, and spatial absorbers, in a reverberation chamber. Calculate the sound absorption coefficient of the sound-absorbing material based on the difference in reverberation time before and after placing the sound-absorbing material in the reverberation chamber. The sound absorption coefficient here refers to the ratio of the sound absorption of the specimen to the area of the specimen. Used to measure the sound absorption coefficient when sound is randomly incident, that is, the proportion of energy loss when sound is incident on materials from all directions.

Indoor reverberation time measurement:The time required for the average sound energy density to decay by 60 dB from its original value after the sound reaches steady state and stops producing sound is called reverberation time, denoted as T60The unit is seconds (s). There are two methods for measuring reverberation time: the interrupted sound source method and the impulse response integration method. The interrupted sound source method is a method of recording the indoor sound pressure level attenuation curve by suddenly cutting off the sound source and stopping the sound after the sound source reaches a steady state.
