The major difference from ordinary lathes is that the center of gravity CNC lathe can complete multiple processes such as turning, milling, drilling, tapping, grinding, automatic feeding, and automatic material receiving in one go, and the processing efficiency, processing cycle, and processing accuracy are several times higher than ordinary lathes, which can greatly save capital turnover and human resources.

The power head is a simple variable speed mechanism with many forms. With the power head, complex parts can be easily machined on the same machine, including turning, milling, grinding, reaming, drilling, boring, tapping, end face slotting, side slotting, side milling, angle drilling, curve milling, and other functions. Installing a power head on a center of gravity CNC lathe is like adding wings to a tiger, and its machining capacity is much larger than without a power head. There are generally two types of power heads, one is the end face power head, and the other is the side face power head, which is installed on the swing arm shaft. By rotating the swing arm shaft, the power head can be used as either an end face power head or a side face power head.
