Heat transfer printing technology is a type of special printing that is widely used and has a very promising market prospect. According to the different pressures used, transfer printing can be divided into water transfer printing, heat transfer printing, gas transfer printing, screen transfer printing, low-temperature transfer printing, and so on.
The commonly used heat transfer printing tools currently include flatbed machines (hot stamping machines), baking tray machines, cup baking machines, etc. However, their production methods are all based on the principle of heat transfer printing, so their production steps and processes are similar, only the heat transfer printing tools used are different.
By using heat transfer printing technology, even for patterns of multiple colors, customers can shorten the printing process and reduce material (finished product) losses caused by printing errors, as heat transfer printing is only a process.
The plate making of printed film is mainly electric engraving (gravure printing), used for brightly colored and richly layered graphics and text, which can meet the requirements of pattern designers. The printing graphics and text are clear, accurate, and have strong adhesion ability. It is suitable for large quantities and high requirements of plastic products, cultural and educational products, daily necessities, cosmetics, stationery, toys, etc. The temperature for heat transfer printing of flower film is between 120 degrees Celsius and 240 degrees Celsius. Suitable for coating surfaces of plastic products such as ABS, AS, PS, PVC, PMMA, PP, PE, EVA, as well as metal and wood.
Precautions for heat transfer printing of flower film:
Hot stamping is a special printing process whose working principle is very simple. It transfers the graphics and text on the flower film to the product through heating and pressure. However, in specific production practice, to improve product quality and production efficiency, the following points need to be noted:
1. Keep clean:
① Keep the workbench, guide rollers, buttons, and other components of the machine clean and free from oil stains and other contaminants;
② Keep the flower film clean and free from oil stains, fingerprints, dust, etc;
③ Keep the adhesive head clean and free from dirt or burnt blocks adhering to it;
④ The operator's hands should be kept clean, and there should be no sweat or oil stains on the flower film or scalded products;
⑤ Keep the object being heated clean and free from dust, oil stains, etc;
2. Hot stamping temperature: The hot stamping temperature varies depending on the hot stamping equipment, hot stamping film, and hot stamping material. Blindly pursuing the hot stamping temperature or (the lower the better), the hot stamping temperature should be determined based on the effect after hot stamping.
3. Hot stamping pressure: The hot stamping pressure must be adjusted appropriately, otherwise too much pressure can easily damage the adhesive head and the object being hot stamped, while too little pressure can affect the hot stamping effect. After adjusting to the optimal hot stamping pressure, the pressure adjustment should be locked to prevent any changes during mass production.
4. Hot stamping time (speed): The hot stamping time (speed) should be determined based on the specific hot stamping material. While ensuring the hot stamping effect, the faster the speed, the higher the production efficiency. However, some products require slow hot stamping due to certain special conditions
