Parameter Description
Hi QE photocathodes can be used in various spectral detection ranges to meet specific application requirements.
Compared with traditional S20 or S25 cathode technologies, Hi QE photocathode QE is increased by 50% and the dark count is reduced by 1-2 orders of magnitude.
Compared to the wide spectral response photocathodes of S20 and S25, Hi QE photocathodes from Photonis have four options designed to enhance spectral response at specific wavelengths. Hi QE UV can detect very well below 330nm, and the new Hi QE Red photocathode optimizes the spectral range of 400-900nm, increasing QE by 50%. At 650nm, the QE value of Hi QE Red cathode is 22%, while the standard S25 cathode only has 16%. Especially at 900nm, the QE of Hi QE Red cathode is 50% higher than that of traditional S25 cathode.
Hi QE photocathodes are used in the following photon detectors:
Cricket;
Hybrid Photo Dior;
Image intensifier;
MCP-PMT detector;
Planacon square MCP-PMT detector.
Application scope
Beam instrument medical imaging
Single photon measurement using Cherenkov detector
Ultra fast optoelectronic analysis&high-speed imaging UV corona high-voltage detection
