Principle of PS type grain dryer:
After the grain crops are sorted, they are transported to the tower by the elevator, and undergo the drying process through the storage section, preheating section, tempering section, drying section, tempering section, and cooling section to achieve the required moisture content. They are discharged from the machine through the discharge section and finally transported to the barn by the conveyor. Dry air is sent into the hot air stove by a hot air blower and heated to the desired temperature (adjustable from 40 ℃ to 140 ℃ depending on the drying material). It then enters the grain drying tower and passes through the angular ventilation box to penetrate the grain layer in multiple directions and exchange moisture with the wet grain, becoming moisture before being discharged into the atmosphere. This machine uses hot air as the heat medium to dry grains. Its interior is mainly composed of staggered angular ventilation boxes arranged layer by layer. The corner box is filled with grains, which flow from top to bottom. Hot air enters through the inlet corner box and passes through the grain layer in an upward and downward direction. Waste gas is discharged through the exhaust corner box. Hot air and grain flow both flow in the same direction and in the opposite direction, which is called mixed flow. When hot air passes through the grain layer, it transfers heat and moisture to the grains: the hot air transfers heat to the grains, causing their temperature to rise. The grains are heated and the moisture evaporates into the air, becoming exhaust gas. The dried hot grain flows down to the slow drying section, where the temperature and moisture of the inner and outer layers of the grain tend to balance, achieving uniform precipitation. After the grain is softened, it enters the cooling section, where it is cooled to the storage temperature before being discharged from the grain discharge section.
